Way to keep Gooseneck Mic straight?

Question

We have a gooseneck mic on our podium and so many different speakers play with it that it gets mis-shaped too often.

Is there some plastic accessory to keep it from getting too crooked?  Or any other tips out there to keep the gooseneck mic straight?

Try rubbing it with vaseline.

just replace it, they wear out after awhile
