If my spouse murdered me for my life insurance, will they still get it when they get out of prison?

    The policy is voided, A person may not profit from a crime.

    No.  They cannot collect, but that does not necessarily mean nobody would collect.

    No. They most certainly will not. If you are afraid that he might murder you for it, cancel the policy, and inform the police to be suspicious of him, if you should go missing.

    Nope. Just like landlords won't get insurance payouts on a house they burned down.

    A person who murders you and get caught does not get to collect on your life insurance.

    However, if they don't get caught and no one knows who killed you, then they might get the money.

    I think the money would probably go to your children or parents if you haven't any child, but I'm not sure.
