Is it look weird to start acting more confident/friendly/happier after fighting through depression/social anxiety?

Especially around people who only know the less happy/friendly version (ie. coffee shop, new job, etc.)

The other people would probably notice the change, but it's hard to say if they would internally describe it as 'weird'. The happier/more confident person would probably hear comments like "You seem more upbeat recently."

I personally would notice the change, would not classify it as 'weird', and probably not say anything to the person about it. I would just be glad that they seemed to be in a happier, friendlier state of mind.
