Can only Vegetarian/Vegan diet save Americans?

Americans have a high rate of cancer, heart disease, obesity and diabetes. It's all due to excessive meat eating.

Uh no, a vegan diet isn't the diet to "save americans." The reason obesity, diabetes, and such are so hihgh is the amount of processed food consumed. They don't hold proper nutrients and often have an excessive amount of calories, sugars, fructose corn syrup, carbohydrates, and the list goes on. If America ate less and ate less processed food, maybe it would get better.

Vegan and vegetarian foods are the most high glycemic of natural foods. All fruits and vegetables are carbs, otherwise known as sugars.

Your insulin resistance is based on eating too many times in a day, and staying carb loaded.

Proteins and fats do not spike insulin like veggies and  root crops.

If anything would help, it would be for most Americans to skip a meal or two, several days out of a week.  Otherwise known as intermittent fasting.

Vegan and vegetarians can't remain healthy absent supplementation, and that means it's not sustainable in most locations globally absent eating meat and fats.

Your body already creates all of the glucose you need. Let me put it this way. You can't survive on a vegan diet alone without supplementing vitamins and nutrients your body needs, but your body can survive indefinitely on meats and fat.

    Just just scientific fact.

Its funny to me how Americans eat a metric f**kton of sugar and live off processed food and people are like "its the meat".

High fructose corn syrup, added to just about everything, is a bigger contributing factor to obesity.

Vegan/vegetarian diets can lead to obesity and other health problems due to inadequate fat and protein.  This is very likely if a vegan/vegetarian binges on fruit and skimps on cruciferous vegetable, grains and nuts.

Then why have we seen incidence of those diseases greatly increase in the last 50 years? People aren't eating way more meat than they used to--in fact we're probably eating less.

And the explosion of health problems is only in the last 40-50 years, so how does that correlate?
