"Sheen", can be both, a stage last name as well as a legal last name, right?

I think so, I believe Michael Sheen does that.

There's Charlie Sheen whose birth name is Carlos Estévez and then there's Welsh actor whose birth name and professional name is Michael Sheen. So yes to that.

Yes it is a legitimate name, but when used as a "stage name" it has not genealogical value.

Yes. Anyone can legally change their name. Also the actor Martin Sheen chose his last name in honor of Archbishop Fulton Sheen.

I'm not sure.  I once thought of naming myself Lucifer Morning Star.  I'm sure names of anything is legal.  Cause some people have named thier children some really crazy names.

Any combination of letters you could put together could technically be a last name if somebody were to change their name to it.  It would have no genealogical significance if someone were to change their name to iorhgkbLnFIAONbH, obviously but I doubt there's a law preventing it.
