My pet grasshopper is doing something weird with her wings?

She’s sitting on the side of the container I keep her in and is flexing her wings outward. I’ve never seen her do it before and I’ve had her for a few months now. Does it have something to do with diet or

season?

Update:

Btw it’s a Female grasshopper

Update 2:

And another thing, I had two other grasshoppers with her before (male and female) and they both died recently (they were much older than her)

My guess would be she's trying to attract a mate.

Don't know if this is early or latter in your season, I never kept hoppers but observed them and seen a few do that briefly, usually later in the season,

Sometimes males will stridulate rubbing their spiny legs on their wings.
