Ideas of what to eat as a replacement for (the constipating) rice/crackers?

The rest of my staple food diet is-





Canned peaches

Homemade cocoa 'chocolate' with some nuts (idk whats in it my mom makes it)

Just looking for something that will add something nutritious and substantial but not clog me up.



Recently Had some fish and got constipated!

Update 2:

Not a fan of nuts, healthy or not!

    I have seen, with my own eyes, someone making oat bran cereal with added sweetener, dark chocolate and peanut butter. Tastes like a peanut butter cup, and gives you that get up and GO.

    You need protein in that diet.Pleny of fruit and some cabbage and other greens will help.But still need meat.subsitute.

    I'm on a low carb diet to lose weight. When I first started it I got constipated. So for breakfast I now eat fresh blueberries and gluten free cereal (real grain cereal not that stuff that's no more than candy) with milk. Now I go regularly and healthfully.

    The downside is that fresh blueberries are expensive. You might try some other cheaper fruit if that's an issue.

    I will suggest nuts. For protein without the concerns of meat.
