A common cold will not cause diarrhoea, but being run down means you could be more susceptible to picking up something else. Diarrhea is more common with Influenza rather than the cold. But cold & flu medications can interfere with digestion also. If it is mild, then I suspect it will pass. If it persists, see a Dr because it is not likely related to the cold.

No. Colds affect the respiratory system, not the digestive system. But there's no law of nature that says you can only have one illness at a time.
