Do cranberry pills make birth control less effective?
I'm taking estrylla right now and the walgreens brand ultra strength cranberry pills. They include soy, absorbic acid, pacran and lecithin. My concern is that the soy in these pills could make the Estrylla less effective. The pills dont include how much soy is in them, just that theres 120 mg of vitamin c. If anyone has information about this that would be appriciated. Thanks.

A cursory google search says no, but google doesn't have a medical degree, so I try not to listen to it too much! The best thing to do is talk to your doctor or pharmacist. Pharmacists are better trained in drug interactions than doctors and you probably have more consistent access to your pharmacist, so ask them. They'll be honest and you can make sure you're not putting yourself in harm's way :)
