Do health insurance companies share information with each other?
Do health insurance companies share information with each other such as United healthcare sharing diagnosis information with medicare?

If you have a Medicare supplement plan or Medicare Advantage plan, the information is shared. Medicare pays first, and then United Healthcare picks up all or some of the balance.

Some do, others do not.
I doubt anyone "shares" with Medicare, but with the shift to electronic or cloud based medical records, all medical providers should soon have access to your entire healthcare history...

Some do, others don't, and each one has it's own policies in this regard which can be found in the small print of your health insurance policy.
