Can you tell me what this is, coin, silver ?

    i'm not that knowledgeable on this but i can see immediately it's no coin but a medallion of some sort.

    First rule of asking questions about coins and coin-like items is:  You must show BOTH sides.

    That is not a coin. It's a medal or medallion, depending on size.  It has the appearance of being pewter or another alloy of base metals.  It is also damaged, both by being placed inside the ring, and the indentation between 5 and 6 o'clock.

  • It's a medallion made to look like a coin of Edward VI.  It's fairly modern (probably 1980s) and doesn't have a collectors' value.  Use it as an upmarket key fob.
