How come the "Star witnesses" could not name an impeachable offence?

That was before "bribery" emerged from the focus groups.

Because the "star witnesses" were not there to name impeachable offenses. All of the witnesses are there to tell the truth to the House and public. And the truth is something that scares the hell out of Trump.

Soliciting assistance from a foreign agent for political reasons is illegal. Trump's own transcript of the call proves he asked for assistance. That alone is impeachable.
Engaging in a quid pro quo relationship for political gain is illegal. The witnesses in the impeachment hearings have said that the directive to withhold the aid and public recognition came from the President's office and was contingent on a public announcement of an investigation. That alone is impeachable.
Numerous individuals were 'fired' by the president when they refused to follow the directive to withhold aid after questioning the legality. They were replaced with political operatives. That alone is impeachable.
Receiving assistance from a foreign agent for political reasons is illegal. Trump received aid from Russia in 2016 as proved by witnesses after witness in the Muller report. That alone is impeachable.
All of the witnesses to come forward are Trump appointees and lifelong Republicans. Many of them have long and distinguished careers in the military and the government. It is amazing how Republicans now find themselves in a position to argue that asking Russia and the Ukraine for political assistance is somehow acceptable.

Bribery was laid out by the witnesses and that silly approach of some republican "Star witnesses" and reality tv show vibe fantasy in the government or about the constitution... is nothing conservative or constitutional.
Article Two, Section Four of the United States Constitution provides that: "The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other High crimes and Misdemeanors." ...
Bribery definition is an attempt to make someone do something for you by giving the person money, presents, or something else that they want: hint "the attempt " is bribery.
The worship of Trump by some religious people will make that question religious or spiritual?

Because you're stupid of course

That "star witness" tag was put there by Republicans. No one else considered him the star witness. Also witnesses, star or not, are not there to make accusation of wrong doing. Nor are they expected to be authorities on the law. They are there to tell what they know.
You fools are easily fooled.

What does your question have to do with Religion you troll?

You think extortion and bribery are not impeachable offenses?
Those are right in the Constitution as offenses requiring impeachment.
Why is it that none of the people who claim Trump did nothing wrong are willing to testify under oath?
