Do you prefer Aphrodite "tee" or Persephone "finn"?

If you HAD to choose between Persephone or Aphrodite as a girls name, which would you choose? I'm actually Greek, by the way.

Update:

Aphrodite does not sound like afrobeat or hermaphrodite, its pronounce Aa- fre- die- tee, or at least in america it is

    Persephone.

    I wouldn't use Finn as a nickname.

I don't understand how you get "Finn" as a nickname for Persephone. The last syllable isn't "Finney."   But I guess if you held a gun to my head and made me choose between a bullet or one of those names, I'd go with Persephone/Finn.  I'd like it with no hesitation if you weren't planning to use Finn as a nickname.

For the record, in the US Aphrodite is pronounced afro-DYE-tee.  Long o.

I know they don't.  But I still don't like that choice of a nickname for this name.  It doesn't fit in any way.

I don't see how 'finn' would be a nickname for Persephone and 'tee' a nickname for Aphrodite and why you supposedly being Greek makes any difference. Aphrodite is a name that would be hard to live with.  Most people would not know what Persephone means or how to pronounce it. Neither.

Are most people THAT ignorant of basic culture that they don't recognize the names of VERY well known and important mythical characters/gods?
