How to get a good woods?

Good woods are rated as moderately durable, with moderate resistance to insect attack. woods like Timer are used for Cabinetry, veneer, flooring, and interior millwork.

    How you get 'good' woods is to ensure that their moisture content never gets raised above a level that will allow insect or fungal attack. All wood is intended to decay, some more readily than others.

    There are illustrated books for carpenters showing each type of timber and its use.

    I purchased mine in a London "Book Warehouse " store.

    They sell great books at really cut prices.

    The book in question explains all regarding carpentry

    Never heard of Timer. Very few insects attack the wood inside of a house. Ask your local lumber store, cabinet maker, etc. Study up on your types of wood for your region.
