My daughter gets pretty severe back cramps when her period starts. I always got stomach ones and 800mg Motrin did the trick. That’s not working for her back, heating pads don’t help either. What else can help her?

Have her talk to her doctor and see if there is some stronger medicine she can take or have her take birth control pills to control her cycles which might help with the pain. Discuss with your doctor if hormone therapy might help.

Back pain during periods is very painful, it is understandable! But there are some possible solutions too, deal with your lower back pain during periods with these remedies:
Although heating pads are a good option, if not working then you can try other options such as get back massage, gentle exercising that includes gentle stretching, walking, and yoga, sleep in a position that is easing the pain, avoid excessive consumption of alcohol and caffeine- they might worse the scenario, and if the pain is really that severe you can try for acupuncture as well.Source(s): https://gomedii.com/about

take her to the doctors, it might not have anything to do with her periods
