Are there any cellular phones that aren't under Google? ?

I phones are not an option. I want a cell phone that doesn't track my entire existence. Google literally showed me every place I've been to since 2015 (my location is off 99.9% of the time) , that is CREEPY. Do all androids require you to have a Google account or do I need to go back to a landline?

Get a flip phone. They still make those. :)

Only "smart" phones are Android or iPhone. Older-style cell phones (any cell phone that isn't a smart phone) aren't Android. They won't run apps, but neither will a landline. They make phone calls, and you can use them in places where you can't bring a landline, such as on a bus.

Wouldn't it be a lot easier to turn off the tracking than buy a new phone?

what phones don't run off the android system?  IPhones and windows phones.
