Help out coworkers when they're in a jam, e.g. they're falling behind in a project, called off sick, grab them a snack while you're out to lunch, etc. Most people don't forget random acts of kindness. When you need some help, they're more likely to help you too. Just make sure you're not doing favors "all" the time otherwise certain people can take advantage of it.

Find things to compliment about everyone. Make people feel valued and important and everyone will like you. But you've got to be genuine. No one like a suck up, at least not for long.
