Am I a Millennial or Gen Z?

I was born in December 1996 (currently 22, coming up on 23 next month). I have seen some people state that millennials are born from the early 80s to the mid 90s, with 1994 being the final birth year for millennials, but others state it finishes at 1996. I've seen so many conflicting information on this and need clarity. Am I one of the youngest millennials or among the oldest in Gen Z?

You are right on the cusp. You are a Genennial.

There are no strictly defined starting and ending points for the named generations.

The answer to your question is therefore, yes.

Does it even matter ??  70 years and all I had to know was my birth date.

Been told I am a boomer.

Only seems to matter to mellenials

Gen- Z,,,can't find that defined anywhere.

    A quick test.

If I ask you, "Are you offended?"

If the answer is "Yes, I'm offended you asked me that!"  You're a millennial.

If the answer is "Yes," but you're wondering what 'offended' means, you're Gen Z.

LOL!!!! Thank you for the laugh an the MUCH needed comic relief. I didn't USE to be a baby boomers, Bor.n in 1953, I was too young to be a Hippie. Then sometime in the 1980s I became a Baby Boomer. .
