I'm on the fence, but I don't think a lone goose would do well, unless it was a rescue used to being alone. They are in groups, or gaggles, for a reason. I think health and mentality wise, it's better for them to be in their family groups. I have never seen a lone goose before out in the wild and to take a goose away from its family is kind of mean, at least to me. But again, if you were to find a loner that wouldn't know any different, I've heard that once tamed, they can be excellent pets.

If you come over to my place and bend over, you will almost assuredly get a goose.
