Who is more likely to get the independents on their side,  Democrats or Republicans?

No matter what they do or say the Democrats are not going to change the minds of the Conservatives and the Republicans are not going to change the minds of the Liberals

Current opinion polls from almost all sources (including Fox) do show the independents leaning more towards the Democrats.  The same polls show some republicans doing the same.

Anyone that watches and understands how dirty the Republicans are will want to go somewhere else, even if not the democratic party.

Trump is being impeached and their defense yesterday was "What about Hunter Biden?" If there is something with hunter, open an investigation; all they are doing is trying to throw shade. Trump is dirty and they are sinking down into his swamp.

Exactly right. Independents ultimately decide the election, but they're not a uniform group that you can control or manipulate.

Most everyone I have spoken politics with in the past several months is disgusted with the Democrats abuse of Congress and their failure to govern or even try to give the appearance of performing their duties as elected officials .

Uhh… independents aren't a GROUP, they're a collection of people who think for themselves and have their own ideology.

When people obviously pander to those who think for themselves, it makes said people seem less sincere.

Source(s): Winning the partisan vote is easy... you just say stupid things and claim your side is the best. Hillary supporters actually attacked independents in the 2016 election, check snopes "The Bernie Sanders Facebook Controversy." Yes Bernie was always an independent, but he didn't "steal" votes, he still is the most interesting candidate who honestly cares about what he says, instead of saying it to get elected.
