What is this mass on my back?

For the last 6-ish Months I’ve noticed a quarter sized lump on my back next to my spine, underneath the skin. It’s dense and it moves when I pressure on it. It doesn’t raise the skin at all or hurt, it just kind of exists and I don’t notice it until I feel that part of my back/spine. Does anyone (actually) know what it could be?

I'd definitely see a doctor about it. That's gonna be hard to diagnose over the internet even with the description you gave. Good luck.
