Post WW2 America occupied Japan so returning servicemen became familiarized with Japan. During the 50’s thru 70’s Japan was a supplier of “cheap” electronics. Later, Japanese electronics became desirable, particularly game makers like Sony and Nintendo, and Japanese games sparked more interest in Japan.   And post WW2 Japan has been an open democracy with many cultural, economic and military ties with the US.

The USA occupied Japan after WWII, and built up good links with that country.  They didn't with China.

I'm Japanese and I think Chinese martial arts is superior to Japanese martial arts.

I didn't know most Americans prefer Japanese culture.

Just Anime, Anime and only Anime. They are addicted with those unrealistic looking Anime girls with coloured hair, big eyes and a pretty face. Chinese media doesn't propogates that.
