    A (7, -1), B(-5, 3)

    AB = (x₁ + x₂/2, y₁ + y₂/2)= (7 - 5/2, -1 + 3/2)= (2/2, 2/2)= (1, 1).

    Formula  to find mid point between two points (x1,y1) and (x2,y2) is

    ((x1+x2)/2 , (y1+y2)/2 )

    Here we have x1=7,y1=-1,x2=-5,y2=3

    Plugin the values into the formula we get,

    (7-5/2 , -1+3/2) = (1,1)

    The midpoint is: (7-5)/2, (-1+3)/2 => (1, 1)

    (1,1).

    Note that 1 is halfway between 7 and -5.

    Also 1 is halfway between -1 and 3.
