Which animal is more likely to live to 20 year old? A cat or a chihuahua?

I've heard of a lot of cats making it to 20, but not so much with chihuahuas.

Both animals are capable of reaching that age and more if properly taken care of.

Just from a quick google search, domestic cats live around 15 years. Chihuahuas live 12-20 years. I have heard of cats living around 20 years as well. I imagine it has a lot to do with how well the animal is cared for and genetic predispositions for various medical issues, among other things. Based on my 5 minute Google search, I would guess a well-cared for chihuahua would have the best chance of living to 20 years old.

Up here where we live almost certainly the chihuahua would as my dogs kill any cats that enter their sheep fields on sight especially at lambing times
