Why are persona games rated M?

Because according to YouTube anything that contains animation is childish. So why are they rated M? It is just a silly cartoon.

Favorite Answer, by your logic, you would allow children to watch Cream Lemon because it's animated, despite it being hentai (which is NC-17 by today's standards)...  YOU MONSTER.

The Persona games are rated Mature (ESRB M) because it has adult situations, violence & other content that's not appropriate for youth to be exposed to.

Lookup the Persona Mara.  That alone should answer your question.

There's a difference between childish and suitable for children, and, cartoon graphics aside, the games central themes deal with violence and the supernatural, neither suitable subjects for young children.

So, you'd be OK with your 6 year old playing Mario Brothers AND Grand Theft Auto?

But YouTube says it is childish.... so it must be because YouTube is never wrong

Because they all show dead (cartoon) bodies and feature murderers for villains, also one of them has a character who’s catchphrase is basically “The hell, dude!?” Plus some sexual jokes and the esrb is pretty uptight I think so yeah that’s gonna make it rated M. You should play 3 and 4 and 5 they’re all amazing games.
