What makes a person go vegan?

Sucked in by the hoopla. They see it as something they can do and it will improve their health and the world. But many will go back to meat when they realize how expensive being vegan is

Sometimes it is because of diet restrictions, but mostly it is because a vegan does not want their existence to impact on the life of other beings.

How exactly is a rainbow made? How exactly does a sun set? How exactly does a posi-trac rear end in a Plymouth work? It just does

There are probably a lot of reasons. but since veganism is mostly about not exploiting animals, a big reason it a person's desire not to exploit animals. This is not something that the majority of people feel strongly about.
But some people either through a strong emotional response to violence towards animals or just figuring out for themselves that harming animals is not necessary become interested and finally convinced that they can't abide animal exploitation.

I know one guy who just doesn't like meat. He says it just looks disgusting. A Seventh Day Adventist does it because they preach a healthy lifestyle. One girl wanted her dad to stop taking her to McDonalds. One guy wanted to protect the earth. In the 90s, it was cool. Now, Healthy People 2020 has brainwashed everyone into getting "healthy" whatever that means to them.
