Are drug dealers responsible for destroying communities, when the addict is the one that wants the drugs?

People bash drug dealers, but the drug dealer isn't the one that got the person addicted. They're just supplying a product.

So who's to blame?

What came first the addict or the drug dealer? lol

    They're both to blame.

Dealers because they supply the communities with the drugs. They continue to do so despite knowing that it's wrong for people.

    Addicts because

    1. they chose to try the drugs

    2. They continue to buy without seeking help to quit...

Of course they are. Without them there would be no junkies.

Lotta truth in that. I've often wondered what would happen if we all just didn't do that. Kind of like back in the Viet Nam war era, the motto that said, "What if they had a war, and nobody came?".
