It has become much more WORSE and much BETTER.And it's going to get a whole lot of worse before it gets a whole lot of better. The world is going to hell in a hand basket very soon.Prepare yourself.Stock up on food and supplies man.Do it.

The hatred between the various factions subsided a bit during the first decade of the present century, but Obama's election brought the screaming racists out, and since then the hatred between the liberals and conservatives has become very pungent. People once thought it shameful to be racist, now they're thumping their chest and screaming about how proud they are. The country had become really ugly.

There was no social media or YouTube back then, everything was all about MTV, they had the internet, but mainly just aol and hotmail, it was just around the time that kids started to have cell phones, but it was also extremely common not to have one

In the 1990s people weren't so thin skinned and didn't need safe spaces.

Someone flushed and we all went swirling down the drain. Freedom, unity and optimism were targeted for assault by a political left that has been working hard ever since to drag us all down. Sad but true.

1.) Computers for everything and 'in' everything (even your washing machine). The 90's had computers too and cell phones and the internet (from 97') it just wasn't as over done as now.

2.) All nudity out of films, movies, tv....90's you could still see that.

3.) Women/ girls in control of society. In the 90's it was women/girls equal in society, now it's feminism...women/girls in charge of society.

The biggest change is in the universal usage of computers to contact the Internet and get fresh information from news media and other Internet users on a daily basis, making the population that much more sophisticated and aware.

Sophisticated and aware? You mean it makes people more easily angered, more violent, and more prejudiced? Or have we been living on different planets?

theres a 'progression' towards technocracy and androgyny .. younger people 'in it' dont see it, it just seems normal, but its been engineered by the information and things presented to them .. by the elite .. make no mistake .. thats where they 'want' things to go ..

Big tech has taken over. No more printed newspapers. Smartphones. Social Media fake news.  We are stuck in front of our devices. The "truth" from the main stream media outlets is nothing more than propaganda. Journalism is DEAD.
