Is it not normal for a 7 month old baby to not be crawling?

Every child deveops at his or her own pace. If you're concerned, discuss this with the pediatrician and the child's next appointment. But i wouldn't worry too much about this.

It's not abnormal. Some babies skip crawling all together.

Crawling (or other similar forms of locomotion) seems to start (on average) at about 6 months but could be as late as 10 to 13 months depending on what your source of info is. So 7 months is not an issue. Are they getting into a crawl position and rocking? Crawling is probably just around the corner!
