Is remington going the way of bushmaster?

How are people suing gun companies for mass shooters actions but we're not suing car manufacturers for drunk drivers?

Not likely, but making them be more responsible in their advertisements is a good start to improve their image.

    Highly doubtful.

The current suit going before the Supreme Court isn't about 'who made the gun' its all about how 'Remington Marketed' the AR-15 platform.  If it were simply the actual families suing using their own money - this would not be happening.  It's a conglomerate of anti-gun organizations doing what damage they can by pulling Remington into court.  All the Supreme Court is doing - is ruling if the suit can continue - there will be no damages or settlements from this proceeding.  Even if the SCOTUS rules against Remington - the Sandy Hookers will need to somehow show exactly how the rifles were marketed and the advertising actually impacted the loss of life.  It's one thing to own a tobacco company and defend against a user who got cancer - here we see cause and effect.  If we use tobacco for this case - here we have someone who stole the pack of cigarettes and killed kids with them.  How they draw a line for A to B based on Remington's advertising isn't going to happen.  I do not know about you - I sure don't recall any Remington ads in Field and Stream endorsing how many kids per minute the Remington AR could murder.

daniel g, USAFisnumber1 and Adam D are also involved in the downfall of this section. Pearl L. is so stupid she doesn't know any better but the other three are

just wanting people to think they are smart and we all know they just want to

see their name in print and it doesn't matter what they say or how dangerous

their answer is to unsuspecting people.    Yes they are stupid but not in the same

way as Pearl. Pearl is retarded. The Three Stooges are just idiots and morons.

They are being sued by anti-gun nuts because it is their strategy of slow and steady erosion of the 2nd Amendment by using indirect attacks. The anti-gun nuts know they cannot win with reason and common sense, which is why they use tactics over the years such as:

    1) Using terms to mask or confuse the issue such as "assault weapon" and closing loopholes in laws where none exist.

    2) Banning equipments because they as somehow "evil" because they look so. Their so call logic: AR looks evil so all AR's are evil assault weapons. And people who own evil assault weapons are therefore evil.

    3) Because they cannot outright ban things, they pass laws restrict their use or ownership such as the suppressors or pistol grips or magazine capacity that holds more than 10 rounds

It has ALWAYS been the tactic of Liberals to use nuisance lawsuits to cost their target legal fees knowing full well their lawsuit is unwinnable. This was never about logic or common sense, but about how to continually whither away at our 2nd Amendment right so that one day they will reach such a point they can just ban all guns.

You want to know just how much a hypocrite a anti-gunner is, here is a statistic that they cannot argue and if you use it they will try to shout you down: the number one cause of death for young people between the ages of 16 to 19 is auto accidents. Not gun violence, diseases, or drugs. EVERY DAY, about 9 teenagers between 16 to 19 die in car accidents and over 228,000 suffer permanent injuries each year.

When was the last time you heard a Liberal parent stomping to banning teenagers from driving? And, yet, they are suppose to be the "compassionate" and "caring" people and we the gunowners are evil and heartless.

Simple: Guns are manufactured for killing. That's their primary purpose. Cars aren't. Car manufacturers go out of their way to placate the insurance companies and make their cars safer. Gun manufacturers go crying to the NRA whenever anyone wants any common-sense gun legislation. Do the math, genius.

Be it guns or cars, it's people who kill. There are over 4,000 common sense laws already on the books. There are laws concerning the use of cars, yet more are killed in accidents than by guns. Math lesson for today

Liberal Judges are not following the American Constitution and therefore can't deliver Just decisions.

yes but they were mentally ill.  It is not the tool it is the user.  Ill and bad people will find a way to do harm regardless of legislation.
