Laptop won’t power on?

Laptop won’t power on even when it’s plugged in. The battery indicator is solid Amber even when not plugged in

Update:

I did have a new battery put in a few weeks ago so I don’t know if that’s a problem

Remove the AC adapter and the battery if you can , press the power button to release any remaining charge then reinsert the AC adapter see if it will boot.

If still no joy you will need to take it to a tech

Hold it over for 10 seconds or just order new battery.

The problem might be in power adapter - it does not charge.

Actually laptop must be able to run from Power adapter without battery.

Try holding the power button for about 10 seconds, see if it starts.
