Find the length of the line segment x?

Poliline perfectly fits in the right angled triangle, as at the picture.

Right angle is on the top.

Find x.

    Given that is a right angle, the hypotenuse would be along the diameter of a circle and the corner would be on that circle.

    I haven't fully proven the case but I get a diameter of about 14.8 with a midpoint of 7.4 would result in a circle that goes through the corner of the right triangle.

    Given we have 5 and 8, the missing distance would be ~1.8 units.

    Answer:

    ~1.8

    You'll need to know the angle between 6 and 7 then you can use the cosine rule to find length of x.

    No right angle can be seen at the top.

      There is a right angle on the top, between two dotted lines. Try to magnify the pic.
