Can you eat dried curry leaves without cooking/heating them?

    Yes you can. This is assuming they have been handled safely from harvest to the consumer. Over here we use bay leaves and in the south of India they eat curry leaves.

    BTW Curry leaves are not used to make curry powder. Completely unrelated.

    You could, but they would be dry & brittle.

    Grind down and add them to your cooking instead.

    Some foods can be eaten without heating, but not always and not all meals.

    The taste and texture will vary depending on what kind of curry you are talking about.  There is the "Curry Plant" or Helichrysum italicum, and the "Curry Tree" or  Murraya koenigii.  Then there is "Curry Powder", a blend of different spices that only rarely contains any Curry Leaves.  None are dangerous and all are used in cooking.
