How are we supposed to know where you went wrong

if you don't tell us what you did to get the wrong answer ?

  • You should probably show your work.  Then we can guide you on where you went wrong.

    10 * sec(x)^2 + 5 * tan(x)^2 - 15 = 0

    10 * (1 + tan(x)^2) + 5 * tan(x)^2 - 15 = 0

    10 + 10 * tan(x)^2 + 5 * tan(x)^2 - 15 = 0

    15 * tan(x)^2 - 5 = 0

    3 * tan(x)^2 - 1 = 0

    tan(x)^2 = 1/3

    tan(x) = +/- sqrt(3)/3

So where you went wrong is that you missed 2 answers.  You only gave the values from 0 to pi, rather than from 0 to 2pi.
