Is the phrase 'in this moment in time' correct English?

In English television particularly the sport they presenters are constantly saying the 'in this this moment in time'. I don't think it sound write but is it write or wrong English?

    The expression is "AT this moment in time."

    "write" >< "right"  -- you mean RIGHT

    And:  I don't think it soundS right.

    It is not wrong to say 'In this moment in time', but it's much more usual to say 'At this moment in time'.

    Please note the difference between 'write' and 'right'. They sound the same, but the meaning is very different.

    It's more likely that you'd want to say "at this moment in time".

    Your word "write" is not correct... Write refers to the WRITTEN word. If you want to know if something is correct, the proper word is RIGHT!
