Is a person who has a efc of 0 on their fafsa eligible for a full ride?

    Expect it will most likely be a combination of some grant money (e.g. Pell Grant), maybe some scholarship money, loans, plus Work-Study Program. Expect to work - 80% of American college students work at least 20 hrs/wk to help pay for school and/or living expenses.

    No. Assuming you are a full time student for the full year, you are eligible for a full Pell grant ($6195) and possibly some other aid from your state or the school itself. It does not guarantee a full ride because the cost of your school may be greater than the grant.
