Lead - is soft. Nearly pure lead - you can scratch it with a finger nail.  If you drop it on a piece of metal or hard floor it goes 'thud'.  It's not a good conductor of heat - hold it for a few seconds it warms up in your hand.

Tungsten and its alloys are some of the hardest stuff known to man.  You wont be scratching it with your thumb - unless you happen to have a set of jeweling files you wont be scratching it at all.  Drop it on another piece of metal - goes 'clang' or 'clunk' but never 'thud'.  Tungsten is a good heat conductor - hold it in your hand it will take time to finally warm up..... since the heat is sent to part not in your hand.

I know tungsten steel is highly magnetic - I don't know about pure tungsten - you might google that.  Running a magnet would be simple and fast.

Hold a magnet to it.  Tungsten will attract to a magnet.  Lead won't.
