Would you be in favor of a public vote to allow Donald Trump to serve more than 2 terms?

There is no doubt about it that Trump is going to win the 2020 election easily. The problem is, though, is that per the constitution, he can only serve two terms.

Trump is considered one of, if not the best president in history and nobody on planet earth can beat him in an election.

Given that Trump is unbeatable, and given that the overwhelming majority of Americans want him as president, would you support a bill that would go through the house and senate to allow a public vote to, where if the American people voted yet, allow the constitution to allow Donald Trump and only Donald Trump to be allowed to serve for more than 2 terms?

If Trump could serve 3, 4, or 5 or more terms, his policies would likely be irreversible for centuries and America would thrive for the next 100+ years

Would you be in favor of allowing a public vote, for where if America voted yes, would allow Donald Trump to serve for more than 2 terms?

I would be in favor of Trump seizing power illegally and thereby terminating democracy (ie. parasitism).

As for allowing the public (parasites) to vote, no thanks, that's the whole reason we are in this mess.

That would not be fair to others countries that might in time might do amazing things too.   When I was a kid adults were no allowed to vote until age 21 and that is because their brains need to develop more.  Sadly because of a certain political skirmish in the last century and the draft for the military they changed the voting age to 18 and young people should realize they have a lot to learn and let the older ones make these decisions.   It is rare to have a president that is even around age forty because the best presidents are ones that have lived a long time and have more experience. My favorite senator was Senator McCain and he was best because he had been a prisoner of war and knew how the people felt.   Because we are living in more peaceful times not all presidents can meet all of those qualifications but I see greatness in Trump.

It will never happen because the majority of Americans despise him

You sound more like a trump campaigner if not trump himself!

Nonsense about trump being the best president.  More like being the worst idiot and a disgrace to American democracy because the so called intelligence agencies failings allowed the autocratic Russia regime to penetrate and significantly influenced US election results bringing man the Trump to power.

This isn’t Nazi Germany; it doesn’t work like that.

No, because if the public vote were allowed to overrule the Constitution, things you disagree with could be made to happen that way. The 1st and 2nd Amendments could be overruled by public voting.

A process already exists to amend that provision of the Constitution that limits a president to two elective terms.

    • If the will of the people were to override the Constitution, it would surely be more important than an old piece of paper that's meant to represent said will and stop lawmakers to just undo it. The truly concerning (and improbable) notion is that 3 terms for Trump could be the will of the people.

No.  That would require a Constitutional amendment.  That could take years to accomplish.  Our next President could be worse than FORMER chairman obama, if that's possible.  How would we limit their terms?
