Republicans can't defend Trump on facts, so they attack the process by promoting a debunked conspiracy about Trump's political opponent...?
...since when is Congress suppose to defend the President when Congress is investigating the President?

It is disgraceful. What is Hunter Biden supposed to testify about? His own guilt or innocence is 100% irrelevant to this discussion; Trump either committed impeachable offenses or he didn't.
This is an investigation into what DONALD TRUMP did. Does Hunter Biden have anything to say about that? No? Then it's just another attempt to smear the Bidens. Pathetic.

Next week the phoney Ukrainian "scandal" will begin to be exposed as another political hoax dreamed up by House Dims and supported by the MSM.

I'm not sure about the "debunked" part .(Seems that's a favorite word of Libs trying to dismiss a question about one of their own when caught with their pants down)
How about this: Trump was wrong for trying to start an investigation on a political opponent..maybe impeachment worthy wrong.
However, since this can of worms is now open, we may as well admit that Biden *might* have done something wrong in Ukraine..and that, too, is worthy of investigation.
It still doesn't excuse Trump, even if it's discovered he's right. He still broke the law. The DOJ may not agree on that, but it's fairly obvious Trump was "calling in a favor," possibly with extortion involved.
Whether or not he will lose the Presidency over it remains to be seen, but it's a possibility.
Certainly more so than it was from the Mueller Spin Job.
So...let's look into corruption on both sides, shall we?
Or are we afraid of that option?

What debunked conspiracy. Joe Biden bragged about it. Using the Washington Post as a source of information is almost as good as using Pravda or Mother Jones.

Congress took a oath to defend the Constitution. It's their duty to accept factual substance first and foremost. Objecting to the process is putting party ahead of America's best interest. Plus, the same process has been used in the past. It starts behind doors intentionally to determine if there are holes in the testimony provided by other witnesses. Witnesses need to feel the pressure between loyalty to trump and being prosecuted for perjury. The public testimony starts next week ... we'll see what develops.

Here is a fact. The only evidence against President Trump is anecdotal.
