If necessary, they BREAK anything in the way of putting out the fire. Solar panels are actually fairly easy to break.

Keep in mind that you want to put-out a small fire - such as burning food or fire in trash container. But if you have a large fire, you want the house and everything in it (besides people & pets) to be totally burned-up. What do you want? An insurance check for the value of the house and everything you own? Or a smokey, soggy mess that will never be right even after you've spent all the insurance proceeds that will be negotiated down.
AND - most fires in an attic will be CAUSED by solar panels and so-called "Tesla batteries".

Fires don't normally start in the attic. It starts at a heat source which is the kitchen stove or the fireplace or the furnace. As the inside of the house is burning why put water on the roof? Water goes through the front window and front door and sprayed onto the ceiling. That stops the flame from going to the rafters(or attic). If your place is engulfed that much in flames that the roof is on fire, the firemen sit back and light up a smoke because this house is toast. There is nothing to save. It is a bulldozer "special"
What you see on TV shows is not real life.
