    Do you double check your answers?

    (6x-3) + (10x+8) + (49-2x) = 180

    14x + 54 = 180

    x = 9

    H = 98°

    G = 51°

    I = 31

    GI > HI > GH D.

    Note: nowhere in the problem does it mention degrees. When measures of angles are in degrees, it needs to say °.

    9 yes the 2nd longest side is opposite the 2nd largest angle

    8.

    Sum of interior angles of a triangle = 180°

    (6x - 3) + (10x + 8) + (49 - 2x) = 180

    14x = 126

    x = 9

    m∡G = 6*9 - 3 = 51

    m∡H = 10*9 + 8 = 98

    m∡I = 49 - 2*9 = 31

    In a triangle, the greater angle has a greater opposite side.

    m∡H > m∡G > m∡I

    GI > HI > GH

    The answer: D. GH < HI < GI

    9.

    In a triangle, the greater angle has a greater opposite side.

    m∡A > m∡B > m∡C

    Hence, BC > AC > AB

    20 mm > AC > 12 mm

    A and B is not the answer because AC < 20 mm

    D is not the answer because AC > 12 mm

    The answer: C. 13 mm
