Will it harm a boats outboard engines to got to full throttle from standstill?
Update:
Most boat trials seem to be at around 10 knots before going to wide open throttle. Is it safe to fully open up the throttle from standstill?

Water-skiers have been doing that for 75+ years and no one has ever warned against it !!!

It will harm any engine to go full throttle from cold. You must give time for oil to be distributed around the engine and for the moving parts to reach working temperature

Thanks for the answer but I did not mention from cold. I want to know if its safe to full throttle a boat from standstill to max speed.
