Since DNC bylaws state they can nominate whom they want; why wouldn't the DNC nominate a Native American for the Prez Dem ticket?

DNC bylaws state they don't need to listen to the vote tallies of the common folk, so why wouldn't the DNC just nominate a Native American? Are they racist?

    Why do you think the DNC wouldn’t nominate Pocahontas?   I think she’s got a good shot.

    I don’t think trump is participating in the nomination process. There are 3 others running.
