should Amanda Knox be in prison for what she is truly guilty of?

I think she is guilty of lying about her involvement in the murder of Meredith Kercher. I think she and her boyfriend did try to cover up the fact that they were in the same house and had invited Rudy over for a drug delivery and then maybe did drugs together and then maybe joked at least that he should go and rape Meredith and he did and then killed her too. and then they stupidly cleaned up the crime scene to make it look like they were not there or involved in any way. but did what they did (if true above) make them accomplices to murder? for how many years should they both be in prison for? why?

I mean if they had just called the police right away and told them what happened. the most they would be guilty of is drug charges right?  but the fact that they tried to cover up the fact that they were there. (maybe just out of "Wanting to make it into their own thriller movie " out of excitement and stupidity) made them definitely guilty of accomplicement to murder?

Americans, ---*still*.... for some odd reason , continue to believe she was "innocent"  or found  NOT guilty.  That was not the case , at all.

The fact of the matter was......she was found GUILTY by a jury trial....and given 26 years in jail.   A fate she pretty willing accepted for an "innocent" person.

When they pronounced the guilty verdicts,  they both just hung their heads, and quietly shuffled out of the room..............because they KNEW damn well, they were  guilty of  SOMETHING.

But such convictions,  and lengthy sentences,  which are RARE in Italy, are AUTOMATICALLY reviewed.

The review determined there was sufficient reason to hold a re-trial......and that's what they did.  And guess what........she was found GUILTY a second time.

and for a second time,  that verdict went to  a review panel of judges.

In the meanwhile.......Hillary Clinton and the State Dept had gotten involved by now,  and no doubt brought POLITICAL pressure to bear.

Miraculously, the second review panel,  negated the GUILTY verdict and acquitted her,  with NO explanation.

They both lied their butts off to police......he tried to flee the country, .......they both changed their stories 5 times apiece,   none of their alibi's panned out.........

she framed an innocent man for MURDER.........

and THAT charge alone,  ***WAS*** upheld  by the court, and she was sentenced to 4 years in PRISON; for that alone.

but by that time, between all the trials and re-trials,  and the little time she actually served behind bars........they declared it  "time served"  and she was let go.

But she was also ordered to pay him damages, for the false charge,  as part of her penalty.........and to this day, she has NEVER paid him.............despite writing a BOOK and being well paid for it.......she has not paid him what she owes.

By all rights , and the LAW,  she should be thrown back in PRISON, and held in contempt,  until she pays the man what she owes  him

They are both damn lucky, the press and the State dept got involved, or else they'd still be rotting behind bars........where they belong.

What you think is not important, she was found not guilty so accept it like a good little Chav that you obviously are.

She was already tried for that crime twice and found not guilty.

    Give it a rest.

Trump and other US billionaire businessmen were putting pressure on the Italian government and paying for her defence. So we'll never know what really went on until she admits the truth. Also when interviewed she lied about her boss, Lumumba being the murderer to throw the cops off the scent. Guede who had no money or rich US supporters and was left carrying the can was convicted but he still says Knox was involved.

Unfortunately, what you think doesn't really matter in the case.
