I'm not trying to be a horrible person I'm just trying use an idea in my story, so is their a monk (folk) with "Chi = Earth" in their name?

I'm trying to make two characters, one named Tengu, from heaven, and the other with "Chi" in their name (Earth). So I decided to use a buddhist monk from a folktale, is their one? Or what are your suggestions?

That's probably story writing.

There are more than 1 Buddhist monks with "chi" name if you look at the entire Japanese history. This Daito Shimaji (島地大等) is one of them.
