How annoying when believers speak for God; to hear that God inspired men to write the Bible. Why doesn’t God speak for himself?

Why can't Atheism speak for itself?????? Why do atheists have to reject God and try to explain a state of existence where there is NO GOD. Who speaks for the Atheist??????? Dawkins???????? He's dead.Epicurus....... he's dead, Lucretius..........he's dead, How about Thales????? He's dead.

He used to speak, and His booming voice, it scared people....after we got our own kings,as us Israelites demanded of Him for one, he stopped.....once we had one, but He warned us what would happen, and we did not believe Him.

He does. He founded one Church, said it was to remain one, and promised that one Church "The Holy Spirit will guide you into all truth", and "Whatsoever you bind upon Earth is bound in Heaven", and "He who hears you hears Me". When we hear His Church speak, we are hearing His voice.

This is the problem. They say their god can do anything but he can't write his own book. Doug says god took on flesh and became a man (Jesus Christ). Then why didn't Jesus write the bible? Moses didn't know about Adam and Eve or the garden of Eden because he wasn't there to witness it, He also wasn't a witness to the great flood, yet he wrote the book of Genesis.

God never does for himself what Jesus Christ can do. Jesus Christ never does for himself what human beings can and should do for themselves. God does communicate with man, from simple answers to prayer to speaking to his prophet and apostles today.

He did at Mt Zion in the book of Exodus and His voice was so powerful that the Israelites said we dont want to hear his voice because we might die. So they asked moses to speak to him. but of course you dont believe that

Oh, but He does! Consider Isaiah 30:21, "Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you saying, 'This is the way - walk in it'."
However, after humanity ignored God's word to them in the Garden of Eden, and with other individuals like Cain, God has withdrawn except to a very few individuals full of faith in Him. Those few, throughout the centuries, have heard God speak to them, and they have written those words down. Further, God has told us:
"In the past, God spoke to our forefathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom he made the universe." Hebrews 1:1-2
It's very simple. If we ignore what God has already told us directly, and through His prophets and His Son, we need not expect to ever hear Him again. God has spoken. Those who do not listen remain deaf.
