Why do I fear death being a healthy 18 year old young man?

The sole thought of knowing I'll die someday makes me feel stomachache and sad. I hope to be supercentenarian LOL. But know I probably won't and that saddens me.

Did it happen to you when you were young?

Think about how I feel at 68, I should be dead by now. I've seen a lot of people die who were much young than me. My own brother died at age 21, killed in the military overseas. I still miss him to this day.

The only advice I can give you is that we are all going to die someday. I would suggest you stop wasting time worrying about dying, and live like there is no tomorrow. Enjoy the hell out of life while you can Be happy, and help make others happy. We're all in the same boat.

Good luck.. I hope you live as long as me, or longer, as long as you stay healthy.

I would post my pic but you wouldn't believe it.

I think about dying a lot. It is the one thing every living being can be certain of. Do not avoid thinking of it, because if you do, when the time comes, you won't be ready. Accept death, come to terms with it. Only then when the time comes, you will be ready to die.

Death is a reality for everyone - regardless of age.

You just have to come to terms with it (or join a religion and have them lie to you).

That's not unusual to feel that way. Given the state of the world - at least, portrayed in the media - you can be forgiven for wanting 'out of here'. But the irony of life is, no one gets out alive.

When I was 18 I knew I would live forever. I have been right so far.
