Omg what a stupid question! Fyi, I happen to love the "country music" by Charlie Pride.

False. Country music should have ended in the late 90's.

The first artist introduced on the Grand Ol Opry was Deford Bailey, an African American harmonica player.

The links between blues and country are strong. It was only the marketing decision to separate original blues and original country. There are all kinds of themes that cross over between the two. (A man in jail and his woman out with another man or selling his clothes or ...)

AP Carter "found" songs from rural farmers both black and white.

Country music and blues are as much alike as country and Irish.

Dom Flemons has a couple of albums out exploring the African American contribution to Western music.

Trying to separate African Americans and country music is foolish.

"True or false: Black people singing country is cultural appropriation?"

That's a patently false claim. Music is music, and does NOT belong to a specific group of people. The fact is from historical facts, is that one of the first superstars of Country Music, and the Grand Ole Opry, was back and known as the Harmonica Wizard, Deford Bailey. Then in the late 1960's Charley Pride came onto the scene. Music is not, nor has it ever been exclusive to any specific group of people, regardless of their place of origin, or even heritage.  Such statements and/or questions, generally when posed, shows both a narrow mindedness, as well as a having a tendency being closed minded.

Have you ever heard of someone called "Eminem"?  Don't put words in people's mouths that they never said.

According to the cultural M@rxist's own stupid rules, Yes.  In reality?  There is no such thing as cultural appropriation.  We are all human and NO special group gets to decide who or what is "off bounds" for anyone else.

    Well...

    1. You're talking about all blacks like they're ONE PERSON. Theyre not. They do the same shxt with whites.

    2. Eminem was accepted. So will the others be. But nothing comes gift wrapped. Iggy, is still fighting for her respect. And she has mine. Again.... not simple.
