    QB passing yards are from the line of scrimmage to where the receiver is tackled or reaches the end zone. A QB can throw a five yard completion to a receiver who takes the ball 70 yards for a touchdown. Both QB and receiver are credited with 75 yards.

    Yes, any yards after catch (YAC) gained by the receiver on a pass play is counted in the quarterback's passing yardage.
