What are the resale values like on Volkswagens?

    In the US, they are relatively low compared to Hondas and Toyotas. Volkswagen does not have a good reputation for reliability.

    They are great. 4year/80,000 regular warranty. 5 year/100,000km powertrain. 12 year/unlimited mileage paint protection. You wont find this from any other make. VW Tech.

    Better than Chrysler cars, worse compared to most Honda and Toyota models...

    Many factors influence resale value, including how many miles the car has travelled, its maintenance condition and its model.

    Very poor resale value on some models, but this does mean you can get a top spec car for a reasonable price

  • Not good, their reputation has really tanked in the past decade, having the service records to show a potential buyer is an absolute must, without them you are screwed. Volvo is about the same but I think French cars have even worse resale value. That does not mean they are bad cars its just something you have to budget for if you buy one.
